Margaret McLeod Mickler Hunsberger
SAVANNAH - Margaret McLeod Mickler Hunsberger, age 90, departed this earth on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, to join her husband of over fifty years, Francis Weiser Hunsberger.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Ann and Jack Sherrill, Pam and Richard Hunsberger, Allen Hunsberger, and Margaret and Peter Filides; her grandchildren: Moira and Jackson Sherrill, Margaret and Shelton Hughes, Christian Hunsberger, Jean and Chuck Lindberg, Alicia and Jason Hunsberger, Melanie and Randy Dinsmore, Joshua Filides, and Michael Filides; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
A native of Tampa, FL she was a longtime resident of Savannah. Mickey was an active member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Sparklers Bible study and the Seekers Sunday School class.
A Memorial Service will be held at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church on Monday, March 17, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a donation may be sent to the Isle of Hope United Methodist Church Green House Project, 412 Parkersburg Rd., Savannah, GA 31406.
Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your mother and grandmother. I have wonderful memories of Aunt Mickey and Uncle Frank at the Lake Place. They were special to me and my parents. They are all together now. William
